HOW DOES THIS WORK?

Our goal is to help you optimize the process of building equity in your home.
We help you accomplish this in three simple steps!

Step 1 - On-Site Consultation

Floating Additions meets with you on-site to discuss your ideas and living needs. We consult with you on solutions and tailor a plan that helps bring your vision to life.

Step 2 - Preparation of Existing Arch. Drawings

If the initial consultation is successful, and the homeowner decides to move ahead with the renovations/addition, the next step is conducting the site measure. This allows us to produce a current set of existing home plans and architectural drawings - required as part of the building permit application.

Step 3 - Permit Drawings & Planning Application

Once we complete all the drawings, we will meet with you again for final review.

Once we have reached an agreement on the plans for your home, we will prepare the full set of permit drawings to submit to the City. Additional requirements for City Permit will include HVAC drawings, prepared and stamped by our HVAC engineer - and structural engineer drawings prepared and stamped by our licensed structural engineer.
